Self Employed Income Support Scheme (Covid-19 Measure).
SECOND PHASE ANNOUNCED
The Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) is now running and claims should have been made using the Government Gateway. Unfortunately, your accountant/tax agent can not help you with this and you need to deal with it yourself.
On 29 May, the Chancellor announced that a second grant will be available covering a further 3 months using 70%, rather than 80% as in the first phase, and capped at £6,570. Applications will open in August.
The facility to claim for the first period will close on 13 July.
